Mobile racks, archival shelving

Mobile racks are designed to archival shelving store business documents and books in archives, offices and libraries. They can also be used for storing light and small cargo in warehouses and back offices.
This type of archives rack is also called mobile, moving, sliding, etc… Different names do not change their essence and purpose of use. You can double archive storage capacity or reduce storage space.

First step is to replace ordinary stacks by mobile racks. Storage capacity of archive, office or warehouse does not increase but up to 80% of useful area is saved.

ADVANTAGES OF “SATURN” MOBILE RACKS

1.   Mobile racks move on rails that are made of aluminum alloy. Their railing system allows you to level racks and install them on unprepared floors. False floor hides all leveling details.
2. Space between rails is covered by false floor that is made of laminated pressed wood-particle board. False floor and rails make rigid structure. It makes it possible to install mobile archives racks without fastening rails to the floor. False floor and top working surface of rails are on the same level that makes it easy to move trolleys with documents.
3. If floors are even, it is possible to install mobile racks without false floor with low profile rails.
4. Mobile racks are moved manually by control wheel.  Control wheels have either metal handles with chromium coating or plastic handles.  Control wheel is easy to rotate without gripping it over and over again.
5. Reducing gear train allows you to move fully loaded mobile rack easily and smoothly. Travel mechanism is covered by safety panel. It solves the safety problem and improves exterior design.
6. Archival shelving are mounted with special quick-detachable clips which are fixed in perforation holes on solid side frame. Distance pitch between shelves (perforation pitch) – 25 mm.
7. Margin rail is covered by side plinth that improves archives racks exterior design and makes them safe to operate.
8. Light-weight design and elaborate railing system reduce floor stress. Due to low weight you can install mobile racks in premises without reinforced floors.
9. Elaborate design allows you to install them not only in special premises but also in your study or office.

Excellent combination of mobile rack weight, rail system, false system and plinth makes their design suitable for most projects.
